Events Management students are set to present their ideas as to how events can animate Leeds City Centre during the Grand Depart at a special debate at Leeds Dock.
The 'Animating Leeds' event will be a creative exploration of Leeds City Centre and a regeneration discussion of the Leeds Dock area.
Taking place on Tuesday 13 May from 12.30-2.30pm at Magellan House, Leeds businesses will attend the debate on how we might re-invigorate our Leeds canals and the urban area of Leeds Dock. To stimulate discussion, the debate will be taking place on one of the charming barges located at the Dock - offering a unique and exciting space in which to experience the Leeds Dock area.
In addition to the discussion, on the First Floor of Magellan House at Leeds Dock, Events Management students at the UK Centre for Events Management at our University will showcase and pitch ideas as to how events can animate Leeds City Centre during the Grand Depart. Responding to a creative brief presented by Leeds Inspired there will be immersive exhibition booths where technology, interaction and playfulness will be used to demonstrate their endeavours.
